Trouville-sur-Mer

Marine’s grandparents have a house by the sea in Dive-sur-Mer. And for “les vacances”, we went to visit them and the area. This area along the English Channel is a French vacation spot for the people of Normandy, France. They need the sun too!

After a nice lunch, Yumi, Marine, her grandparents, Mme Patricia, Lea, her brother, Yumi, and I made a parade to a town along the coast called Trouville-sur-Mer.

A view of Trouville-sur-Mer

Trouville-sur-Mer had a lot of restaurants, small alleys, fish markets, and a sandy beach.

An antique store

The old, little shops were nice and cute. I was surprised not to find an overwelming amount of tourist beach shops. Instead, most of the shops were antique or art shops. The two type of shops mingled together gave a romantic vibe.

Later that day after walking around all day, we went to a restaurant. The whole family and 2 friends totaled to a reservation for 10 people. The dinner was very nice!

Ready to eat.
